Darshan at East Bay JCC
I hadn’t heard of Darshan before I was hired to cover this event on behalf of the Jewish Studio Project and the Jewish Community Center in Berkeley, little did I know how great this night was going to be and what a gift it was going to be to have the opportunity to document it! The evening began with attendees painting artwork inspired by lyrics from Darshan’s music while being entertained by DJ Bambi. The artwork was then displayed on stage as the band came on to perform and soon the crowd was dancing to the combination of song and rap from this talented group.
