My wife Janie and I took off for a much needed, post holiday, vacation in our favorite town in Mexico. It’s been six days in paradise and it’s been fun and restful. Tonight, our last night here, we discovered some great live music and danced with an electric group of vacationers, expats and locals. A couple of days ago we went on a boat ride for some whale watching. Since this was a quick trip I left my professional gear at home just taking my little digital point and shoot with me. It’s always interesting trying to capture the perfect moment with a 1 1/2 second delay when snapping the shutter! It’s times like that that I miss my pro camera with an almost instantaneous response.
I did catch some nice photos. Here’s one of a whale that seemed to enjoy impressing us with his/her acrobatic talents!
